Although I'm violating my personal, one-blog-post-a-year guideline (I know, I set lofty goals...a relentless overachiever), I had to post this quick video we took on Easter Sunday. Although it's short, it's a great snapshot of everyone's personality and how we roll as family:
Eden trying diligently to fulfill my wish that they sing an Easter song;
Maddie too shy to participate but still able to make fun of herself for that;
Jacob's disinterest in complying with my song idea, wanting instead to show the camera the pink bunny toy he acquired that day (which keeps popping up in the video frame, probably with him stifling a mischevious laugh each time he succeeds);
Me trying to jump in and help the girls with the lyrics to the song but totally messing them up, then laughing as Jared made fun of me off camera for not knowing the words;
Christian's surfer hair in his eyes as he laughs his way through his solo attempt;
and of course, the video ending with someone getting hurt.
Jared has a quick cameo, passing in front of the camera with Baby Monet in his arms, so keep your eyes peeled for that (doing a vital cleaning of the kitchen table before Easter dinner, removing a piece of scratch paper)...love that man...love this family...
